Our Vision
“Breaking the loaves into pieces, he gave some of the bread and fish to each disciple, and the disciples gave them to the people.  They all ate as much as they wanted…”  Matthew 14:19-20

We believe that God's primary instrument for worldwide evangelism is the local church, and that church planting, based on the principles of multiplication, is the most effective method for fulfilling the Great Commission.  Churches must be planted that, from the beginning, have a vision for multiplication.  New congregations must start new congregations.  When this happens, it is the beginning of a movement of new churches that are able to reach an entire country and change the lives of many thousands of people.  This process of widespread church planting is called “saturation church planting” (SCP).

Jesus gave an object lesson for church planting when he multiplied the loaves and fishes.   Even though he started with a small amount, as he divided and divided, there was never a lack for food.  God gave the increase and all were able to participate in the banquet.  Churches must be planted that are willing to see daughter churches started as soon as possible.  And those daughter churches must do the same, reproducing again and again.

Our prayer is that people yet unborn will rejoice in a relationship with the Lord in newly planted churches in places where, today, there are no Evangelical churches.  We pray that heaven will be filled with glorious inhabitants who will exalt and glorify our Great God.  We pray that He will work through us for the sake of those thousands who will meet Him for the first time.

Our Goals
If saturation church planting is successful, there should be thousands of new churches planted throughout Romania. There should be thousands of church planting teams mobilized to evangelize and plant hundreds of local churches, which will train and equip new church planting teams. There should be hundreds of church planter training sites. There should be thousands upon thousands who are praying and fasting, and thousands of informal, cross-denominational prayer gatherings, effectively uniting and linking prayer to new churches planted.  Research teams from local churches will map out their cities or their counties or parts of regions in order to understand where new initiatives of prayer and evangelism and church planting need to take place.    And hundreds of cross-cultural missionaries will continue to go out from newly established, indigenous mission cooperatives. Their focus will be directed as much as possible at the Islamic and Buddhist worlds.

Churches come from small groups

Our Strategy
Our methods are basic: we plan to start evangelistic Bible study groups in homes that will grow into churches that will start evangelistic small groups that will grow into churches, and so on. By working through spheres of influence, family ties and friends of friends, we hope to reach out into groups of people who will influence each other to make eternal decisions. Because small groups are the best place for nurture and spiritual growth, gathering people for evangelism solves the problems with follow-up. Those who come to Christ can be helped to maturity. Future leaders will be identified and trained to lead small churches. And the cycle can begin again.

We plan to establish relationships with indigenous church planters, encouraging them, equipping them, and modeling for them the methods of evangelism through small groups.  We plan to refine the understanding of how to contextualize the Gospel for people with an Orthodox mentality in an urban setting.

We plan to experiment with various methods of getting Romanians to open their homes for evangelistic Bible studies.  Evangelism for small group and church development can be done in a variety of ways:  public outreaches through open air evangelism, Bible studies, free English classes using the Bible text, music and puppets, benevolent works of charity, film and literature distribution, leadership training, music and poetry, cultivation of friendships and relationships in small groups, Bible translation, establishment of schools or facilitation of existing curriculums, outreaches through radio, television, recordings, printed page and by other means that may become apparent and necessary to further the cause of Jesus Christ.
